California is one of the few states that has set standards for tax preparers. By state law, only attorneys, CPAs, enrolled agents or those registered with CTEC are considered California approved. But out of those four professionals, how do you know which one is right for you? A lot of it depends on individual financial circumstances, needs, even comfort levels.
